Wanda Maximoff

also known as Scarlet Witch · Wanda Django Maximoff

Grief, sitcoms and chaos magic: how Wanda becomes the Scarlet Witch.

19 entries 6 films 13 episodes 22h 59m

Wanda enters as a Hydra volunteer with a grudge against Tony Stark and leaves as the most dangerous being on the board. Every entry on this run is a loss she is made to absorb: her parents, her brother, Vision twice, and finally the two sons she invented. WandaVision is the centre of the order and the only place her interior life is the subject rather than the complication.

Agatha's spell-induced detective delusion opens over a red-haired corpse the show frames as Wanda, face never shown. Elizabeth Olsen is not in this episode's cast, so it is a body double confirming her fate rather than a scene for her.
Familiar by Thy Side
Agatha All Along · S1 E6 · 202447mcameo
Archive audio only: Wanda's WandaVision goodbye plays over the reveal that Billy died in a car crash at the exact moment she collapsed the Hex. Olsen is credited for voice, and it is the closest the show comes to continuing her story.
